Innumeris is delighted to announce that, Sean Madden, one of the student-athletes from our USA Soccer Scholarship Pilot Programme that was launched back in January, has been awarded a full academic and sports scholarship to Missouri S&T, one of the top engineering colleges in the country.
Sean is the first of our student-athletes to have been awarded a scholarship from our pilot programme and we are extremely proud of him for all his hard work and dedication to his studies and on the field of play this year. It is extremely rewarding for us to make aspiring student-athletes’ dreams into a reality.
We look forward to continually working with our current group of student-athletes as well as our future student-athletes for our 2022/23 cohort, in securing the USA scholarship offer that is best suited for them from both an academic and athletic perspective.
Here is what Sean and some of the Innumeris executive team had to say;
“I am extremely grateful to be given such a great opportunity like this through Innumeris Education. I would like to thank all the Innumeris team for their hard work and commitment, as it has enabled me to receive such a great offer from one of the top Engineering Universities in America. I have yet to make a final decision on accepting the offer, however, I look forward to what is to come from me academically and on the field of play in the future.”
Sean Madden (Innumeris Student-Athlete)
“We are all over the moon for Sean and I want to take the opportunity to thank all those that helped with Sean's process. The very point of this pilot programme was to ensure that athletes were aware of their options beyond the playing field. Whether he decides to go or not, Sean now has the option of continuing his footballing career in the USA, whilst receiving an outstanding education at a top-tier academic institution, that is all paid for. It's a win-win."
Daniel Olaniyi (Founder & Chairperson)
“I am delighted that Sean has been offered a combination of an athletic and academic scholarship from Missouri S&T. Missouri S&T is one of the top engineering schools in the country, and we are very excited to hopefully follow Sean and the team this coming season.”
