Innumeris Scholar Dubem Amah Secures NCAA Division I Scholarship to the University of Houston

Congratulations are in order for Dubem Amah, the Innumeris student who left Ireland and attended Spire Academy prep school for a year, and has now been offered a full-ride scholarship to attend the DI University of Houston. This major milestone marks the next phase in a remarkable international journey for the Dublin-native sprinter, representing a significant success for both Dubem and the Innumeris Education athletic pathway program.

Before transitioning to the United States, Dubem established himself as one of Ireland’s premier young talents on the track. As a past pupil of Moyle Park College and a dedicated competitor with the Tallaght Athletic Club, his athletic profile already included winning the Under-18 100m and 200m All-Ireland National Championships, as well as representing Ireland at the European Athletics U20 Championships.

Two years ago, Dubem joined the Innumeris Education Programme with the goal of combining his elite sprinting capabilities with a world-class academic and athletic program in the United States. Through the collaborative efforts of Innumeris, Dubem first secured a scholarship to SPIRE Academy—a renowned sports prep training facility in Ohio. Over the past year, Dubem utilized this platform to adjust to international competition, refine his technical execution, and prove his capabilities against top-tier global talent.

His exceptional performances at SPIRE caught the attention of major American collegiate programs, ultimately leading to his official commitment to the University of Houston Athletics.
