Innumeris are delighted to welcome Jack Teagle to the team, where he will provide SAT/ACT Exam guidance to those on our upcoming student-athlete project. It will be given to elite footballers who want to study in the US by virtue of a sports scholarship. Jack is a graduate of Washington and Lee University, a top-ten liberal arts college where he was also a NCAA Track and Field Athlete and Captain. Prior to coming to College, Jack scored in the top 1.2% of test takers in the ACT Exams. He was a three-year letterwinner and part of the 2017 Indoor championship team that included teammate and our current Innumeris Chairperson Daniel Olaniyi.
Upon completing a social work and language internship in France over the summer, Jack later availed of a role as a teaching assistant at Lycee Bonapart, where he focuses on the importance of language exchange as a means of preparing students for higher levels of education and an increasingly diverse workplace.
As someone who met one of our founders through sports in the USA, Jack is as passionate about cultural exchange having the same significance as academic development. Student-Athlete coordinator Taner welcomes him to the team and notes how "Jack will be a valuable asset as his great experience with ACT/ SAT preparation will give our students every opportunity to achieve the best possible scores on their standardized tests." Jack is delighted to apart of Innumeris, stating:
"Me and Dan go way back. We met during his exchange in the US and we clicked ever since. I later stayed with him for a week when I came to visit Europe. When he spoke to me on the phone about what he was trying to do I knew I had to join. Especially now that I live and work in Europe. I'm a firm believer in education being the gatekeeper for further opportunities and keeping other options open. I wouldn't have made the friends I have without it."
We all at Innumeris can't wait for him to get started!
